About TELANGANA UNIVERSITY:

Telangana University was founded in 2006 by Act Number 28 of the State Government. The University was founded with the goal of making higher education available to the educationally deprived district of Nizamabad in Telangana. Telangana University received the renowned NAAC "B" Grade with a high score of 2.61 in the first cycle evaluation in December 2015. The University was visited by an 8-member NAAC team on December 21, 22, and 23, 2015, and received a "B" rating. The University began with six programmes and was located in the PG building of the Govt. Giriraj College in the Dubba neighbourhood of Nizamabad.

The University is the state's first newly created university to get University Grant Commission (UGC) 12B status. As a result, it qualifies for UGC funds. At least a half-dozen members of the teaching faculty have received UGC-sponsored Major and Minor Projects. Many research scholars have received Rajiv Gandhi National Fellow Ships from the UGC.

The most significant benefit of Telangana University is its name. This is the university that bears the name of the state. The distinctive name instantly identifies it across the country. Telangana University's name alone provides it with a significant advantage in the newly constituted Telangana State, where the establishment of Bangaru Telangana is the primary initiative.

TELANGANA UNIVERSITY MAIN CAMPUS:
The main campus is located in Dichpally on 577 acres of land. This provides a huge opportunity for future growth and transformation into an institution of academic and research eminence. By establishing R&D facilities inside the government or in collaboration with industry. The University's main campus is located in Dichpally, which is adjacent to National Highway 44 on the Hyderabad-Nagpur Road.

Admission Process for the BY TELANGANA UNIVERSITY:

The qualifying requirements for admission to by TELANGANAUNIVERSITY are as follows:
Telangana University's admission system is transparent and based on reservation rules. All admissions will be made based on the candidates' performance in the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test. The University closely adheres to the government's reservation rules and assures rigorous adherence to the reservations into several categories.

Admissions to various programmes of study will be made based on TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test (Conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad) rank and qualifying requirements, subject to the reservation regulation. In each course of study, 85% of the available seats are allocated for local applicants from Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.

TELANGANA UNIVERSITY FACULTY:
The Boys Hostel is located on the Dichpally campus, about half a kilometre from the University College complex. The Boys Hostel has one ground level and one first floor. The Ground Floor contains 54 rooms in four wings, while the First Floor has 57 rooms in four wings. Every floor of the hostel has a modern water cleaner and water cooler.

Between four and six p.m., a qualified scientific physician visits the hostel on a regular basis and makes offers to the scholars. Within the hostel complex, there is a separate Reading Room/Library, Doctor Room, Sick Room, TV Hall, and Dining Hall. All of the major English and Telugu daily are subscribed to for the benefit of the hostel occupants.
