ABOUT SIDDHARTH UNIVERSITY:
State-run Siddharth University, often known as SU, is situated in Kapilvastu, Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded on June 17, 2015, and it is connected with colleges that were formerly part of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. As the "playground" of Prince Siddhartha, afterwards known as Lord Buddha, Siddharthnagar is a site rich in history and drenched by babbling rivers that pour down the Himalayas. The area has been flourishing since 1989 because to the efforts of the great socialist hero Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav, who set out to promote enlightenment via a synthesis of traditionalism and contemporary education. Indeed, this was the beginning of the path leading to the realisation of the grand ambition of founding this university.
After that, on October 30, 2013, Shri Akhilesh Yadav, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, set the University's cornerstone, and on June 17, 2015, the Government of Uttar Pradesh formally announced the Center for Higher Learning's opening in the Gazette. In reality, the recently founded Siddharth University is a holy stream of historical heritage and legacy of Lord Buddha's philosophy and preaching, and it is intended to enlighten and ignite the young of this region with His wonderful lessons.
