About the SARDAR PATELUNIVERSITY:

By an act of the then-Bombay Province's Legislative Assembly, Sardar Patel University was founded in December 1955. In October 1968, it received recognition under Section 2f of the UGC Act. The institution has just finished 56 years of its most prosperous existence, which has helped it become a leader in terms of academic achievement. So it seems sense that efforts have been made to either follow in its footsteps or duplicate it elsewhere in Gujarat.
