The institute was setup by SHRI RAM CHANDER GAHLOT CHARITABLE TRUST SOCIETY established in 2002 in the memory of late Shr. Ram Chander Gahlot - a social worker, a philanthropist, an educationist, a visionary who always believed in education for all sections of society.

Shri Ram Chander Gahlot Charitable Trust Society is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act 21 of 1860 and Punjab Amendment Act 1957. It is located at New Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, Haryana. It was established with the mission of serving society by providing rich learning environment and to impart quality education. Society runs the following institutions:

Sri Ram International School (Recognized) is a co-educational, English medium school sprawling over two acres of land with state-of-art infrastructure for perfect grooming of the children.
