ABOUT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION:
The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), (Deemed to be University), was founded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and is a leading institution that deals with capacity building and research in planning and management of education in South Asia as well as India. The Government of India granted the organisation the title of "Deemed to be University" in August 2006 in honour of the organization's innovative work in the fields of educational planning and administration, enabling it to bestow its own degrees. NIEPA is entirely supported by the Government of India, just like other Central University.

In the year 2006, the center was converted into a university. Since its founding by the Indian government and UNESCO, NIEPA (National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration) has undergone a number of changes. However, these modifications have contributed to the institute's current splendour. Compared to its competitor, the institute is working at a lesser level.
