Mata Shanti Devi Memorial College of Education For Women, Ugala (Ambala) was established by Mata Shanti Devi Memorial Education Trust, Ugala (Ambala) in the year 2008 with the well-defined motive of serving the people of Haryana in the field of Teacher Education. Its thrust is upon promotion of excellence in Teacher Education through personal care and individual guidance.

Keeping in view the growing demand of the trained B.Ed. teachers in the state of Haryana, the trust took a giant step and decided to set up a College of Education in the year 2008 offering Bachelors of Education course. 

The College aims at providing quality education to the youth of the nation in general and locality in particular. The Core Purpose the College of Education is to transform the society through quality education.
