About MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY:

Haryana Legislative Assembly, Maharshi Dayanand University, originally known as Rohtak University, was created in Rohtak in 1976 and was given the name Dayanand Saraswati in honour of the saint. The 622-acre campus of the university is divided into several buildings. MDU provides bachelor's degree-granting engineering and arts undergraduate programmes that lead to either a BE or B.Tech. Additionally, the college offers graduate degrees such as the Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Science (MSc) with a focus on research, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). While the other degrees are taught, the MSc and Ph.D. study degrees are offered concurrently.

The University's territorial authority covers 10 districts in Southern Haryana. The Directorate of Distance Education offers traditional UG/PG courses, as well as Information Technology and Management programmes, to students, all of which are of a high standard.
