M.Phil in Library and Information Science is a master level course. It is a merging of library science and information science. The common ground between library science and information science, which is a powerful one, is in the sharing of their social role and in their common concern with the problems of effective utilization of graphic records. To build in the management, organizational and preservation skills over the student is the purpose of this course. Generally the duration of M.Phil
