About ICFAI UNIVERSITY:

ICFAI University's student body is extremely diversified; students come from many states, socioeconomic and cultural origins, and walks of life. Each Campus also has a large number of interaction areas, communication centers, academic buildings, and cafeterias that provide good, sanitary meals.

A variety of student activities are designed to supplement the classroom learning experience. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities that will help them improve their communication skills, develop the right attitude, enhance their leadership qualities and abilities, manage stress levels, emerge as team players, refine interpersonal skills, and develop group skills.
Student Activities is at the heart of ICFAI University's educational philosophy. Students that are self-motivated and capable lead many Student bodies, Student Clubs, and Student Committees that plan and administer these co-curricular and extracurricular events on campus throughout the year. The University provides sports and entertainment facilities for badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, caroms, football, and cricket, among other things.
Each campus has a dedicated Student Activities office that is supervised by Faculty members who function as mentors and actively collaborate with students to organise a range of events and activities.

ICFAI UNIVERSITY GROUP:
Mr.N.J.Yasaswy (1950-2011), Founder of the ICFAI Group of Educational Institutions and a pioneer in promoting higher education in the private sector, had a stellar academic record: B.Com (Andhra University 1969 - First Rank), CA Inter (May 1971 - First Rank), CA Final (May 1973 - First Rank), ICWA Inter (July 1970 - First Rank), ICWA Final (July 1970 (July 1972 – First Rank). In 1972, he received the Basu Foundation Award for Best Student of the Year from both the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (in 1973).
