ABOUT GURU KASHI UNIVERSITY:

Balaji Education Trust, Talwandi Sabo, which was created in 1997 and served as the region's educational cornerstone, launched the Guru Kashi University. In 1998, Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic, the first college, was founded. Graduate and postgraduate programmes were eventually added. Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology opened its doors in 2001, while Guru Gobind Singh College of Education opened its doors in 2005. The GGS College of Nursing and the GGS Institute of IT and Research both started operating in 2006. The Punjab Act No. 37 of 2011 founded Guru Kashi University in 2011. Since then, the institution has expanded and has been meeting the requirements of the local, national, and international communities among the splendour of nature.

Due to its location in a rural area, the institution is sensitive to agricultural needs and has launched a number of programmes under the College of Agriculture. It is dual accredited, meaning it has approval from both ICAR and PCAR. To increase visibility for its research and teaching, the university has established connections with other universities and organisations at the local, national, and worldwide levels. The institution uses a Choice Based Credit System and offers more than 50 programmes at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. All levels of the curriculum use the Multiple Entry and Exist approach, which is based on Learning Outcomes. The university's second administrative facilitation system comes after e governance.

The kids receive high-quality instruction in both individual and team games in addition to having outstanding facilities and possibilities for sports and cultural activities.

The complex, which spans more than 75 acres of land, is situated 5 kilometers from Shri Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo. The Guru Kashi University's dormitories are stylish and functional. Separate hostels for boys and girls are equipped with desks, chairs, and wardrobes. Various nutritious foods are available in the mess. Every hostel has a security guard on duty, and the entire campus was secured. In addition to drinking water purifiers and adjoining restrooms, there are two or three seats in each room.

The dorms for boys and females are located separately in the Guru Kashi University Facility, and the rooms are tasteful and functional. Each student is provided with a desk and a chair in the rooms, which have contemporary conveniences and services. There are linked restrooms in a few of the hostels.
