ABOUT GOVIND GURU TRIBAL UNIVERSITY:

Banswara's Govind Guru Tribal University Formerly known as (Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University), the institution underwent a name change, moved its administrative offices to Banswara, and has affiliated institutions there as well as in Dungarpur and Pratapgarh.
The (Change of Name and Headquarters and Amendment) Act of 2016 and an Act from 2012 established this as a public institution. Udaipur serves as the university's interim administrative center. Currently, the university's main office is housed in a leased structure. On the property given to it, the university building and institutions will shortly be built.

The university's primary missions are higher education, research, development, and innovation. Additionally, it strives to foster new information, improve professional abilities, and foster the right attitudes in the bright young generation in preparation for the reconstruction of society based on the deeply treasured principles of functional democracy.
