About DHANAMANJURI UIVERSITY:

According to "The Dhanamanjuri University Act, 2017," which came into effect on April 6, 2018, Dhanamanjuri University (DM University) was established this year by a notification in the Manipur Gazette issued by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Manipur. On August 3, 2017, the Manipur Legislative Assembly enacted the Dhanamanjuri University Bill, 2017. Under the National Scheme of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, the University was founded (RUSA).

Maharani Dhanamanjuri, the mother spirit in the creation of our seat of learning, carried into action the long-cherished ambition of our founding fathers to establish Dhanamanjuri University.

The Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) National Scheme created the University in order to carry out one of its main objectives, namely to transform colleges into cluster Universities. Dhanamanjuri College was a gift from Maharani Dhanamanjuri, and the institution bears her name as a tribute to her contributions to the advancement of higher education. The three Dhanamanjuri Colleges—DM College of Science, DM College of Arts, and DM College of Commerce—along with G.P. Women's College and LMS Law College are what make up the University; they all share, adjoin, or are physically close to one another.

DHANAMANJURI UNIVERSITY FACULTY:
The lodging agency provided modestly priced accommodations for the two young men and ladies. With a constant power source and pure RO water, it was kept quite busy. There is also a transportation office for the local students.

The College maintains its whole library under the guidance of a teacher. 3000 books, 150 diaries, step-by-paper, periodicals, and journals are available at the college. There is enough room in the library to hold about 100 students at once.
