About DEENBANDHU CHHOTU RAM UNIVERSITY of SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY:

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal was established on November 6th, 2006 by upgrading the former Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, established on  2006 of the Haryana Legislature with the goal of promoting research and studies in developing fields of higher education with an awareness of new frontiers in science, engineering, technology, architecture, and control research.

The technical and professional colleges and institutes located inside the District of Sonipat were connected with the University, which has affiliating status. Additionally, the University's six B. Tech. programmes were approved with the help of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). There is a Central Instrumentation Laboratory at the university that is available to students in particular programmes or doors as a crucial study space.

The Government of Haryana founded Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology in 1987 as "Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering." With an annual intake of just 60 students, it quickly became the top technological school in the nation. 

The institute was transformed into a university and given the new name, "Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology," in recognition of its contributions to technical education. It bears the name Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, a well-known educator. In addition to being a leading role in agricultural and educational reforms, he was also involved in a number of joint Punjab development programmes, notably Bhakhra's Project.

A member of numerous professional organisations, including the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), International Road Federation (IRF), and Indian Road Congress (IRC), the university was granted accreditation by the NAAC with a "A" Grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). • A council of wardens, led by the chief warden, handles all matters pertaining to hostels.
