CRPF Employees Educational Society was set up in the year 1984 for the welfare of the CRPF personnel. Opening of Technical Institutes is a part of welfare measures taken by CRPF for the wards of their employees who are not able to obtain higher education. Thought behind it was by providing some vocational courses to their wards for making them eligible to get some kind of employment in Government/Pvt. Sector or can also set up their own workshops.

Considering the deployment of force, the maximum constabulary has to remain away from their families in most of time and families are also residing in rural areas of country. In the absence of bread earner of family, the house wives look after the education of their wards and old ailing parents. In these circumstances these technical institutions are providing best platform to this weaker section of the society who are not getting admission in good reputed institutes and also not possible for a constable to put his ward in the Pvt. Engineering college by paying 25 to 30 lac fee. Hence for those wards who are not able to secure seats in good Engineering colleges, the technical courses run in these institutions is the noble solution.
