Founded under the Srinagar and Jammu Act, 2016, under the centrally financed RUSA system, Cluster University is a collegiate university. Its five constituent colleges, which are the venerable institutions of higher learning in Jammu city, are essential to its success. The University has also created five postgraduate integrated schools, including the schools of science, social science, humanities and liberal arts, engineering and computer technology, and teacher education.
