ABOUT CHITKARA UNIVERSITY:

The Chitkara Educational Trust was founded in 1998 with the specific goals of pursuing academic achievement and upholding the highest levels of rigour in all of its endeavours. Following the passage of the Chitkara University (Establishment and Regulation) Act by the Himachal Pradesh legislature, Chitkara University began conducting classes in the 2008–09 academic year (Act No. 2 of 2009). We are a member of the prestigious Association of Indian Universities and a government-recognized institution having the authority to award degrees under Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956.
