About BHATTADEV UNIVERSITY:

Bhattadev University, Bajali, is the culmination of a long-cherished desire of the people of the larger Bajali Sub-Division, which came to fruition on June 24, 2019 with the appointment of Prof. Birinchi Kr. Das as the University's first Vice-Chancellor. The University replaced the former Bajali College, which had a long history of more than six decades and was generally known as one of the state's most significant educational institutions. The Bhattadev University Act, 2017, which received the Governor of Assam's assent on October 16, 2017, founded the university. It is named after Assam's legendary son, BaikunthanathBhagavat Bhattacharya, also known as Bhattadev, who is widely regarded as the founder of Assamese prose.

Bajali College was the result of the vision and commitment of several important Bajali residents, as well as the hard work and sacrifice of the local agricultural community, who donated from their earnings from selling rice paddy to the college's foundation. Under the vibrant leadership of Kameswar Das, who received first class honours in his MSc final exams from Calcutta University, Bajali College prospered. Since its humble beginnings in 1955, Bajali College has worked for academic achievement and has been renowned as one of the premier institutes for scientific education in Assam.

The qualifying requirements for admission to BHATTADEV UNIVERSITY are as follows:

• To begin the admission process, interested students may go to the University's official website at http://www.bhattadevuniversity.ac.in/web.

• Candidates must click the "Admissions" button, then select UG or PG, and then download their respective application forms.
