ABOUT ASSAM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY:
Under the Assam Science & Technology University Act 2009, the Assam government created the Assam Science and Technology University. It seeks to offer Assam professional courses as well as education and research in the fields of science and technology. The only and best technical university in India's North Eastern region is ASTU. All undergraduate and graduate programmes in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, and a few professional courses in the scientific and management fields are academically governed by the university. An internal post-graduate programme in energy engineering is also offered by ASTU.
