ABOUT ADESH UNIVERSITY:
Adesh University, Bathinda, the primary academic and research project of the Adesh Foundation, a forerunner in healthcare, medical education, and technical education, was established in the State of Punjab in July 2012 by Act No. 6 of 2012, which was announced under Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary) dated July 10, 2012 under Punjab Private Universities policy 2010. The parent organisation, the Adesh Foundation, was founded in Sri Muktsar Sahib, an underdeveloped region of Southern Punjab, in 1995 under Registration No. 618 of 1995-1996 (Registered under Societies' Registration Act XXI, 1860), with the aim and objectives of serving humanity in the spheres of health care as well as medical, paramedical, and technical education.

With the opening of the Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology in Faridkot in 1996 to provide a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate level technical education programmes, the Adesh Foundation began its adventure in the fields of professional education and health care. In honour of the victims of Sri Muktsar Sahib, the Foundation founded a second-level college in 2002 under the name Bhai Maha Singh College of Engineering, Muktsar.

Since its founding, the ADESH FOUNDATION has expanded quickly thanks to the introduction of cutting-edge and qualified courses in management, technical education, and allied health sciences. ADESH UNIVERSITY was founded under the umbrella of the Foundation in 2012 when it was determined that the organisation had the capacity to conduct and introduce programmes of research and innovation.

The Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Bathinda name and logo were used by the foundation when it built a medical college in Bathinda. The Medical Council of India and the Indian government have properly acknowledged this major medical college of Northern India, which has an annual admission capacity of 150 students for the MBBS programme. In 2005, the organisation also founded the College of Physiotherapy, AIMSR, Bathinda, and the College of Nursing, AIMSR, Bathinda. 

ADESH UNIVERSITY VISION & MISSION:
Adesh University was founded with the goal of transforming Malwa, the underdeveloped and underdeveloped region of Punjab, into a center of academic activity and a major player in the fields of technical and medical education, along with research endeavours. The university was established specifically to provide instruction, teaching, education, research, training, and associated activities at all levels in fields of higher education, including professional, medical/dental/technical/general teaching, etc., especially to aspirants from remote areas.

The campus offers air-conditioned, nicely equipped dorm rooms. separate dorms for males and girls. Hostel accommodations provide amenities including private study rooms with computer connectivity and internet access, plush mattresses, restrooms, and linked bathrooms. Hostels for Adesh Medical College are situated on the Bathinda campus. The AIMSR hostel's rooms can be reserved with the intention of sharing. Three people can fit in one dorm room. Boys can choose from 144 rooms, while females can choose from 244 rooms. There are roughly 600 college students that can stay at the hostel.
