About Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry (Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry)

Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry is a research-based doctorate degree in Analytical Chemistry that concentrates on the deeper analysis of various chemical reactions and the different parameters associated with them. It is generally a 3year long course, which studies all the details regarding concepts, processes, and research involved in Applied Chemistry. The course will concentrate on researching anyone of the analytical techniques involved in analytical chemistry. Some of the techniques which the candidates can pick include Spectroscopic Method, Electro Analytical Methods, Separation Methods, etc. Apart from the analytical techniques, the candidates can also work on the deeper aspects of the subjects, and research on topics like enzyme analysis, surface analysis, etc. Before beginning the research work, the candidates will have to complete compulsory coursework. The coursework will provide basic training on research techniques and include topics like Research Methodology, Thesis Writing, etc. The candidates will also be trained on data handling and sampling methods in detail. After the completion of coursework followed by the Research Program, the candidates will have to submit the Thesis for evaluation.
